A Family Oriented Resort-Style Campground in the Florida Keys!
We found a campground in the Florida Keys that your kids will never want to leave and neither will you! We’re talking views, pool, fishing, snorkeling, playground, the whole nine! Fiesta Key Campground needs to be next on your bucket list!
The ultimate resort-style family campground in the Florida Keys is at Fiesta Key!
Where do we begin? Seriously, this campground is an epic family vacation! My kids did not want to leave and quite honestly neither did we!
Fiesta Key is a large campground with plenty of beautiful waterfront sites to choose from as well as RV rentals and cottage rentals on property! This would be great for those who have been thinking about giving camping a try, but haven’t invested in a camper yet. Also, this is fabulous if you want to invite friends and family to vacation with you and they don’t have a camper. The campground is completely paved which we all know is a huge bonus! Bring your boards, scooters, and bikes!
The views and the sunsets are stellar from anywhere on the grounds! One side of the campground has a gorgeous sunset viewing area with picnic tables and lots of space to cast a line. On the other side of the grounds is a beach with more views and great fishing. There’s also steps along the rocks if you want to take a dip or snorkel around! Wildlife is booming around the campground. We saw eels, box fish, coral, and a shark! It was quite the little homeschool marine bio lesson! 😉
Bonus! There is a bait shop on premises! If you know, you know. Nobody wants to leave the campground and drive ten minutes to pick up some shrimp. This was an awesome amenity to have!
Next to the beach is a tiki hut and a huge above ground pool! The kids had wrinkled up little prune hands all day long, because they were obsessed with this pool. There is also a massive fenced in playground! Sadly, it was closed due to Covid at the time of our visit. But I did take note that it was there for next time & its fenced in! (Thank you for fencing in playgrounds for us parents!)
Fiesta Key is also a short drive Marathon and Islamorada. There are endless attractions to choose from like snorkeling, scuba diving, boat rentals, and fishing charters. Our favorite attraction was the Dolphin Research Center! We spent the day with a dolphin trainer learning all about dolphin research. We even got into the water with a dolphin and learned how to teach her some tricks! Our dolphin trainer spent so much time with the kids, letting them ask her as many questions as they had. Fiesta Key is the perfect family getaway with loads to do around the campground and in the close by Marathon and Islamorada! We have a wonderful stay & we hope you do, too!

Tips:
-There is a marina as well! You can stay on your boat in the marina or rent a boat and keep it there for the duration of your trip!
-If you go swimming on the beach, it is rocky at the bottom and some of the rocks are slippery. Just be careful 🙂
-Bring snorkel masks! There’s lots to see in the water when you take a dip!
-Your kids will likely live in the pool and in the ocean. Bring several bathing suits just in case!
